It seems that special season is near
The time to celebrate a brand new year
So here's our note of Holiday Cheer
Happy, Happy, Merry, Merry, Ho, Ho, Ho.

In our world this year, old problems continued with new ones added. The winter cold will be especially hard and perhaps deadly for children in the earthquake-devastated Kashmir region of India and Pakistan. The ethnic cleansing in Darfur has left thousands of orphaned and abused children in Sudan. Kathy and I have added two more names to our Christmas shopping list: Kashmir and Darfur.
