There is a consensus among the local weatherpersons. Today will be the last triple-digit hot day of the year. And today may not quite make triple digits. The weather guys also say that Oklahoma set a record for the average temperature over the last three months: the hottest Oklahoma summer on record and surpassing even 1934, the hottest of the dustbowl/depression years. That may also be a national record.
It's about time. I'm ready for some cooler weather. Some rain would be nice, too.
