An errant arm of Tropical Storm Lee passed through here early this morning. We'll see more of Lee later today. Perhaps we will benefit from the sparse moisture that remains in the system. Considering the deluge dumped in the East, there can't be much moisture left in Lee. We will receive it though and be glad to get it.
I think there are many people in Texas and Oklahoma who suffer from storm envy after all that rain passed us by. Many here are wishing for a decent hurricane to swamp our area. I tell them, "Be careful what you wish for."
As far as wishing goes, we could not have wished for better weather than what we're now experiencing. There is just enough wind to freshen the air, and daytime temperatures are in the 70s and 80s; at night, the lows dip down in the upper 40s. Barely.
